Terms of Use
The terms for the Video Compressor: Metras app for iPhone.
Effective
Apple’s Standard EULA
The Video Compressor: Metras app is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA): read the Standard EULA. It applies to the app, together with the short terms below. If the two differ on a point, the Standard EULA applies to the app.
The licensor is Theodoros Tsavlidis, trading as Metras, Digeni 3, 56123 Thessaloniki, Greece. Apple is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app, as the Standard EULA explains.
Pro: a one-time purchase
The free version of the app includes 3 free tries. Pro removes this limit and gives unlimited use. Pro is bought once through the App Store. It is not a subscription and it does not renew. Pro supports Family Sharing. You can restore a purchase you already made on any device signed in to the same Apple Account, using Restore Purchases in the app.
Payment, refunds and billing are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves; you can ask Apple for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Your videos and photos
You keep all rights in your videos and photos. The app processes them on your device only. You are responsible for having the right to use the files you compress and for what you do with the results.
Compression makes a new copy that is smaller and can look or sound different from the original. Check the copy before you delete anything. We recommend keeping a backup of anything you cannot replace.
Ownership
The design and software of the app belong to Theodoros Tsavlidis, trading as Metras or the licensors named in it, and may not be copied or reused without permission, except as the law allows.
No warranty beyond the law
The app is provided as it is. We try to make it work well, but we do not promise that it is error-free, always available or suitable for a particular purpose, except where the law requires it.
We are not liable for loss that the law does not allow us to exclude. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right that you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. Our privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
